Cheese Awards
The highlight of the week is held on friday 21st October.
The awards range from the Cheese Lovers' Trophy to Best Organic
Cheese to the Best Article Profiling British Cheese. Last
year, roughly 66% of the UK cheese industry took part!
Great
British Cheese Festival
On the 22nd and 23rdOctober, the Cheese Festival will be coming
to Cheltenham in the Cotswolds, and setting up in The Imperial
Gardens. Last year the event attracted over 8000 visitors,
and this year is expected to draw even more cheese lovers
and manufacturers to its masterclasses, exhibitions and workshops.
The event also includes regional food and drink.
British
Cheese Week
Running from saturday 22nd October to sunday 30th October,
the week is part of a nationwide campaign to promote British
cheese.
